Nawaz Sharif was prime minister of pakistan in yr 1992 and he was dealing with similar kind of floods. Except for photo sessions, no real strategy or mechanism was developed to deal with floods.What a shame - PMLN / PPP both have ruled this poor country many times but none of them had time, wisdom, vision or dedication to solve flood problems. Every year people die of these floods but our politicians dont give a damn about it. How unfortunate and brainless are people of Pakistan hitting themselves with same axe again & again and supporting this corrupt status-quo. No health facilities, No justice, No respect and dignity for poor people but they are determined to have corrupt NS & Co. to rule them. They dont realize Pakistan need change and really need dedicated politician like Imran khan who is devoted and dedicated to serve Pakistan. There should be solid preventive measures in place to handle such catastrophic floods.
