Nearly 20 people per minute are victims of physical violence by an intimate partner in the United States alone, according to the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence (NCADV). In one year, this equates to more than 10 million women and men. In an effort to give survivors back their voice, the UT Feminist Alliance and Take Back the Night Collective will host a vigil on Oct. 6, giving survivors the opportunity to share their stories and seek help if need be.
