Need a place for 10 year old mutt asap. This poor dog has been tied to a tree with a heavy chain, no house, no shelter, no water, no food. Gave her water & food asap then got rid of the horrid chain replaced with a light, longer cord. Walked her and spoke w the owner who is not all there. Offered to take her and he agreed to let me have her. Got a dog house over there with carpet but its so cold out and going to get worse. Asked him to please have the dog in for tonight and I will pick her up tomorrow, he agreed. She is emaciated and does not deserve this torture. God knows how long this poor dog has suffered. I am getting her in the morning. It makes me sick to think the only time she would have been off a chain is when she died, and I guarantee that is what it would have happened. Please if anyone can take her let me know. I am happy to supply vet checks & a large bag of quality dog food for her, cans too. Thank you. Will post pictures tomorrow.
