Need help with a rule, preferably a judge, and would like to see official ruling if possible: I have a friend who thinks elvish mystic (for example) can tap for convoke AND add another G to mana pool. At first I said hell no. However, after reading more into it and seeing the ruling that convoke is a static ability, not activated, because of he extended wording now Im not so sure... Im sure this is not the first time this has come up, but I havent been able to find much. I find it hard to think it would actually count for both because the ruling doesnt explicitly say it is a trigger. Confirmation or denial?
