Need some musicians or a lighting designer, costume designer, set designer, choreographer and dancers for at least 9 shows for the Melbourne fringe festival in September and October. Playing new arrangements of 50s Warner Bros cartoons Bugs Bunny etc.in sync to the footage. Each arrangement is very different from the last and though it is all charted, there is still a lot of room for experimenting with sounds and effects if one desires. The live show is hilarious and a lot of fun. Did I mention Lasers? Theres lasers. The dates are: 19th september at the thornbury theatre 7 nights at Revolt (kensington): 23rd-29th and the 3rd Oct at Thornbury theatre. Payment: Unfortunately, there is no confirmed or guaranteed payment as of yet. Money coming in will all depend on our success of grant applications, tickets sold, merchandise sold, sponsorship success and crowdfunding campaign success.However, part of all grant applications etc will have a musician wage worked into our budgeting. Though we are confident in getting sponsorship money etc. i understand, of course that the undertaking seems extravagant for only the possibility of getting money. However, the show is very fun and over the top and I suppose thats why we are doing it. For the love of crazy music and lasers (did i mention there would be lasers? There will be lasers. Finally, if the project interests you we are looking for permanent members, its a very open creative space. Lots of opportunities to write parts or write/arrange for entire scenes for even entire cartoons or be involved in the myriad of other things that will make this show amazing. Venues booked for fringe are the Thornbury theater and Revolt. We also have a show at fed square in November. Obviously Ill be devastated if there are no lasers
