Needless to say, l am incredibly relieved by this wonderful news. I am also still enormously disgusted that this even IS news in the 21st century. And l wonder how many people are aware of what a relatively new thing this sort of barbaric, fundamentalistic Islam and rule by ironfisted Sharia law is. If you consider the broad scope of Islamic history, it has GENERALLY been a fairly peaceful, open, and enlightened religion under which many people of different faiths and cultures have coexisted amicably. No, it hasnt been perfect, but neither has any other political.or ideological system. The state that some of it is in today is disgraceful to its history, and the West shares a lot of the blame for making it that way because of our many decades of tampering with and violating the Middle East.
