Negotiations Update for May 15, 2014 We finally met today and the company presented most of the information that we requested. We spent a little time with the company asking questions regarding the data, and other questions related to healthcare benefits. We have scheduled our next meeting for Monday so that our experts at the International USW in Pittsburgh can also evaluate the data and report back to us. We would like to take an opportunity to address some concerns. Obviously there is a lot of activity related to work continuity preparations. This is typical when we approach a contract deadline. It is our sincerest hope to achieve an agreement before June 1. But all of us must realize that the gains and standards of living that we have enjoyed has not come easy over the years. The company fights us every contract. It is strength and unity that has allowed us to get where we are. It wasnt easy to get here, and it wont ever be easy to keep what we have bargained for. If we do not stand together, we fall backward. There is too much at stake for our members and their families, not to remain steadfast. We gain our strength from each and every one of you. Stay strong! If we do, we will get a fair deal. Solidarity! Likes and shares appreciated!
