Neighbor: I dont like cats, and you shouldnt feed the ones that arent yours, and encourage them to hang around. I do like birds though, and had a nest on top of my power box, with babies in it, and I was digging a worm for them everyday and feeding it to them, until a cat must have knocked the nest down to the ground. The momma Robin was so upset, that the next day when I looked, she had put the nest AND the babies back, but then a cat MUST have got them, because the babies disappeared again. Me: The kitties that I feed, I feed at least 3 times per day, so they do NOT have to hunt for their food, and eat birds. I like birds AND cats, and Im not going to stop feeding anything that is hungry, and cant get food on their own. BTW.....did you chew those worms up first before you fed the baby birds?? Neighbor: Well, cats are creepy, and I dont like to see them around. You should take all of the cats inside your house, so people that dont like them dont have to see them. Me: Yah, I dont like having to see creepy things either. You need to get the hell out of my yard, and go inside your house, and STAY.
