Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other - TopicsExpress

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved, Acts 4:12. And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him, Col. 3:17. Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost, Acts 2:38. Then they that gladly received Peters word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls, Acts 2:41 Friend, there is a storm coming. Only those who are covered by the power of the name of Jesus are going to make it. He is coming for a people for his name, a people upon whom my name is called, Acts 15:14, 17. Friend, has His name, the name of Jesus, the only saving name, been called upon you? Have you been baptized in Jesus name? Every Christian baptized in the book of Acts, the history book of the Early Church, was baptized in Jesus name. They commanded people to be baptized in His name. Why would you not want to be baptized in that wonderful name of Jesus, to be one of those called by His name, upon whom His name is called? Why do you want to face the coming storm not covered by that name? Go ahead and pray against the storm using the word Father. Why dont you try praying against it using the word Son. Pray against it using the word Holy Ghost. Those are not names, but only titles of relationship. If you want to experience His power to cover you, you had better use His name, Jesus. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Matt. 28:19. The name of the Father is not father. Everyone should know well that the name of the Son is not son. The name of the Holy Ghost is not Holy Ghost. The disciples who received this command, understood it, and obeyed it. They baptized all their converts in the Name of Jesus and commanded their converts to be baptized so! They did not disobey His command. They understood it and obeyed it. Not once in the Bible is it found that they ever baptized any convert using the words Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, nor did they ever instruct of command anyone to be baptized using those words. As on the Day of Pentecost, those that gladly heard Peters word were baptized just as he said, in the name of Jesus Christ, and they were added to Gods Church! Have you gladly received these words, the same message the Apostles preached everywhere they went, exactly as Jesus commanded (Luke 24:47) the last time He spoke to them before He ascended? Are you covered against the power of the coming storm by the power of the Name of Jesus?
