Nenna is one of my favorite Icelandic verbs. Ive even taken to using it in English, as a noun (e.g. I just cant find the nenn., I dont have the nenn for that.). Roughly translated and almost always used in the negative, it means to feel like doing a thing - so, usually used to say you could, if you wanted to, but you dont feel like it. Here is the party which leads the government (its parliamentary party chairperson, specifically, seen all the way in the front) saying that it just doesnt feel like funding public broadcasting for its own people. Our government has repeatedly and without evidence accused the only peoples-owned media of being leftist and pro-EU. The accusations themselves are a red herring. Our own government is openly engaging in a politically-motivated butchering of the peoples media. They are, effectively, waging a culture war against all of us.
