Nepal Festival 2014 Perth Event : Nepal Festival 2014 Perth Date : Saturday 28th June 2014 Venue : Forrest Place, Murray Street City : Perth Duration : 10:00 am to 6:30 pm The Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) would like to extend its invitation to you to the Nepal Festival 2014 to be held in Perth, Western Australia. This Festival will be a colourful presentation of Nepalese cultural songs, dances, traditional costumes show and other activities. Exhibitions, food stalls, cultural shows, live music and other activities will capture the picturesque Nepal—the birth place of Lord Buddha and the country of Mount Everest. The NRNA is a non-profit global network of people of Nepalese origin currently living in over 69 countries around the globe. NRNA Australia is incorporated in Australia with the mission of working for the best interest of Nepali community and Australia by integrating Nepali community into Australian multicultural society and working for the welfare of Nepali community members. The global network NRNA was established in 2003 and its Australian Chapter was established in 2005. An estimated 70,000 people of Nepalese origin live in Australia representing professionals, students, business people, and academia and community leaders. The recent Nepal festivals were successfully organised by NRNA in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane and were well attended by people from all walks of life. NRNA anticipates that the upcoming Nepal Festival will enrich the flavour of multiculturalism in Perth and will play significant role in creating unity & harmony within the Australian communities.
