Nesting Boxes (LEANRNZ Virtual Field Trip, Penguins and Seals 2012) Nesting boxes provide safe homes for penguins when their usual habitat is in short supply, perhaps due to human development or natural erosion, or perhaps because it is the safest place to nest and avoids them having to cross roads.
