Net Neutrality... isnt. This is actually not what you have been told. The Internet was a DARPA government project but is built upon bandwidth provided by private enterprise. Beware of claims it should be treated like the Defense Department funded Interstate Freeway system because... taxes built that... profits built the internet. Obama is leading Democrats to impose by dictate laws based upon the Interstate Commerce Act of 1887 that were the basis for FDR government intervention into communications in the Communications Act of 1934. So yes... 19th Century Law was imposed upon the phone system and we didnt sort that out until deregulation in the 1980s gave you the cell phones you have today. Only Big Government Statists would advocate repeating the same mistake by imposing a 1/2 century of Regulatory failure upon the Internet while screeching about fairness. TV consumes 80% of the internet and the bandwidth providers are already starting to drop projects to further grow the internet because they dont provide or profit from that content. So beware... the expression Net Neutrality is a BigLie based on the Fairness doctrine of statist seizure of private assets. We are caught between the commercial titans of Television programming battling to continue to loot the assets of the communications industry and if you think the Government imposing 19th century law isnt an attempt to impose controls upon your freedom of speech... well... you havent been paying attention. Simply read what the Statist BigGovernment activists write... and you can see why they have no intention of allowing yet another manufactured crisis go to waste.
