NetCracker Technology Corp., a large software development company and one of the world’s most respected TOMS Solutions (Telecommunications Operations and Management Solutions) companies, has an opening in Egypt for: Project Manager (Solution Delivery) Responsibilities: This position is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of projects. • Solely responsible for project delivery; • Plans and organizes work, coordinating and owning activities with Development staff, integration partners and Customer staff ; • Assigns individual responsibilities, provides project leadership, work direction and feedback, coaches and trains project team members on project management processes and best practices, influences the work of others to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met; • Responsible for the overall planning of projects by recommending approaches, identifying resources, and developing timelines; • Owns project budget and P&L responsibility for the project; • Ensure project requirements are achieved in a timely fashion and within budget guidelines; • Performs cost/benefit analysis of actions and initiatives; • Actively participates in requirements gathering process; • Leads work teams of various sizes on engagements; plans and organizes the work for the team; determines, tracks, and reports on priorities and project status; • Provides guidance, assistance, and training to team members and customer staff; • Contributes to sales activities, customer development, proposal development, and closing sales; • Delivers input for formal presentations and executive summaries to senior management and status updates on strategic initiatives; • Assists in project performance quality assurance plan and audits; • Informs team on project status and updates. Qualifications: Education: • High Degree; • PMP certification and/or prior PMO experience is preferred. Experience: • Minimum of 5 years of application software implementation experience and expertise in applying technology solutions to meet customer needs; • Knowledge of IT networking or Telecommunications experience (Fixed, Mobile Voice, Data/IP, Transmission systems, VoIP, Wireless and/or other enhanced services) as well as BSS/OSS applications is a plus; • Thorough knowledge of operations systems and processes and their relation to business processes; • Excellent knowledge of delivery project lifecycle. Development/architect experience is a plus; • Detailed experience with project management methodologies like ISO or CMMI and PMP and associated tools. SI experience is a plus; • Ensuring formal acceptance of project results and delivery results to customer; • Experience in managing of different scale projects. Skills: • Demonstrated experience and relevant expertise in the design and building of distributed and enterprise solutions; • Excellent communication and team building abilities; • Demonstrated leadership qualities such as conflict/issue resolution; • Business-like presence and ability to interact professionally with Customers; • Ability to communicate (verbally and in writing) effectively with stakeholders; and senior business leadership of departments and agencies participating in this project; • Requirements gathering methodology, software development methodology; • Expertise in selling services including RFx responses, proposal writing, financials, up selling and engagement management; • Fluent English language as a principal business communication language; • Strong project management ability and leadership, coaching and mentoring abilities and experience; • Strong results oriented with analytical and interpersonal skills; • Pro-active approach; • Strong background in working with Java, J2EE and Oracle; • Ability to travel approximately 35% of the time.
