Networking Update for Wilplan Training Graduates: As of now the Wilplan Group on LinkedIn is a closed group that is open to Wilplan graduates only. We will be moving away from our Wilplan CP Graduates Forum and notifications including posts for employment opportunities and career events that would have previously been posted on our forum will now be posted in the Wilplan LinkedIn group instead. When our forum was created social media sites such as the now hugely popular Linked In were only in their infancy stages. It is fair to say that certainly over the last five years or so this now seems to be the preferred method of networking ... or, well Linking In! The move to the Linked In Closed Group, as with the forum, will still be just for Wilplan Graduates only but not just CP as it will now include graduates who also work in Maritime, Surveillance & Professional Investigations, Driving etc and therefore widen your networking opportunities. We have four great CP Packages with different options to suit peoples needs. We also have instructors and graduates alike who want to work with other Wilplan graduates in all these areas. By including all graduates in this group hopefully everyones employment opportunities will increase even further! Many of our students are trained in multiple areas and we feel they would benefit greatly from this approach. Those graduates who have recently posted jobs on the forum have advised that they do not receive the level of response they would have hoped for and we feel this is probably because many do not use the forum on a daily basis but are aware that they are using LinkedIn more frequently and very often on a daily basis. We find ourselves then posting here or on LinkedIn in a bid to encourage graduates to log in and view the job postings so they dont miss out. We hope you will support us in this move towards the Wilplan LinkedIn Closed group and view it as a positive move in strengthening your networking and employment opportunities!
