Nevada has officially collected the most signatures ever for a ballot initiative in the state, and more than double the amount required by law. The almost 250,000 signatures were delivered to the governor earlier this November to pass a law to require background checks on all gun purchases, online and at gun shows. If the Nevada legislature fails to pass the provisions, or if Governor Sandoval vetoes it, it will be on the ballot in 2016. -- Sandy Hook Promise
