Never being one to over-react, Ive decided to buy one of those huge trucks with a wrecking ball. I am going to drive it to my neighbors yard and do my best to knock down their house. I am really just trying to get their attention. I am now on yet another 3 week dose of doxycyline for the deer tick I had removed this Wednesday. Ive had a previous tick bite along with the prerequisite bullseye before and was diagnosed with Lymes. This is actually my third doxy treatment. My son also has Lymes but a much more severe case. Two of my neighbors also have had deer tick bites resulting in Lymes. You might wonder why I want to punish my other neighbor. Well, because the idiot has a salt lick in his yard when he is fully aware of the fact that three of the households that surround his home have people in them with Lymes. I mean really. I dont want the deer to suffer either but I cant see drawing them to an area where their presence has caused serious harm to p e o p l e. There are a minimum of 6 deer in the herd that is in my driveway every night. These deer think theyre in a remake of West Side Story. If I shine the headlights at them - they go all Bob Fosse on me - striking poses and looking directly at me like theyre getting ready to sing When youre a Jet, youre a Jet all the way - from your first cigarette - to your last dying day. Apparently, our driveway is a short-cut to mo-mos house. So, enroute to the salt lick, they eat the tops off of every blooming thing in our yard, leave their deer tick calling cards and mozey on over to the deer version of Docs soda shop. As far as Beavis and Butt-head - Ive tried nice. Ive tried appealing to their logic. Ive tried whining. Now I think its time for an attention grabber. Im thinking the wrecking ball may give them pause for concern. What do you think?
