Never deny humble beginnings. I would never have thought the reception to my running for Public School Board Trustee would have been so well received. Anyone who knows me knows I love and admire children. They are just waiting to be guided in the right way to be come their biggest DREAM. I did not print any cards, flyers or business cards for my campaign, just me a woman on a mission ... my soap box ... and my message. In the last few weeks, I have received such tremendous response, business owners are saying they found out about my nomination and want to help, parents are saying the same and yesterday I received the very humbling notification that I was selected after a public presentation to be endoresed by the OSSTF. All of this after my two high schoolers knocked it out of the park with amazing progress reports and hubbie passed his CPR exam. Trust me, all of these are a big deal. I am so thrilled that I am determined to be deliberate in promoting the DREAM! Barrier Free Education. On my way to Ottawa on Monday to ruffle some feathers! I shout a universal THANK YOU!
