Never judge people by their smiles, the way they dress nor the way they look or speak. The façade is deceptive and tells only a fraction of the real people behind the faces. The curtains may be hiding stories of sadness, stories of broken families and stories of lives behind walls of mental anguish and physical torment. Don’t look into the eyes and unsuspectingly believe the sparkling eyes are those of delight and joy. You may be seeing flickers of gloom and misery. Seemingly buzzing laughter during the day may be turning into muted cries when the shades of the evening fall. A peaceful life under the lights away from home among friends could be replaced by life of agony behind the scenes and sleepless nights. A few of us, or maybe many more, live in immense unbounded misery. They put in a brave face and soldier on. They display happiness to comfort themselves, to be brave for few others and try to plant a seed of hope in the hearts of beloved ones. Recognise them and respect them.. 24/April/2014
