Never please idiots!! They actually never learn… that sounds like a quote that Paulo Coelho would use in Many of his novels.. but he hasn’t… so I am using it!! I don’t know how or why people are sometimes so freaking unlucky, like this guy in church today.. he tripped on his shoelaces.. and fell headlong hitting his head smack into the pulpit… the glass of water that the man of God was sipping from fell on his crotch… wetting him thoroughly… I had this crazy urge to laugh but I didn’t… he stood rather awkwardly (his head whirling perhaps) his suit riddled with the dust of three weeks of unwashed tiles.. he made as if to smile… he only managed a rather crooked sinister grin… And Kenyans never learn… he made as if to walk…he tripped again… his sadaka flew from his hand!! And rolled all the way to where we were sitted! Jeezus !! a five shilling coin?? For a grown ass man? Five shillings?(kwani kanisa unanunua mandazi?) everyone was laughing.. throwing the church into some kind of melee! The man of God characteristically thumped his chest then the pulpit bringing calm to the church…and he did… but the congregation was now staring at the Lone man sauntering and swaggering to his seat! He wore a magenta suit, lol,,,, actually the suit is by some designer here in the village called “maiko” for Michael…. And he sat down and was instantly forgotten.. and then this mama with a little kid… oh My God the kid was howling like mad… and then the mother from within the folds of her sack-like hand bag got a “munyonyi” and fed the baby…. With some queer liquid…(it must have been guiness or changa’aa since the kid slept almost immediately) The man of God launched into his usual tautology , and condemned those who offer peanuts in the strongest manner possible…
