New Course in American African Restoration Launched The Colbert House LLC launched a new Christian based Bible study course developed to help American Africans work through the process of restoration this week. American African Restoration 1001: Foundations in American African Restoration is aimed at those who see the need for American African healing of personal brokenness in order for them to fulfill their destiny. Among others, the course is a resource for Christian leaders, professionals, educators, employers and coworkers of American Africans. “God wants to restore American Africans from the brokenness we have suffered for 400 years in the US,” said Larry Colbert, owner of the company and author of the texts used in the course. “While the US has tried all kinds of worldly remedies to resolve the racial strife that continues to erupt between us, God has a plan of restoration as well. Not just healing. Not just wholeness. Restoration.” The American African Restoration Curriculum includes a home study course, teaching packages for training institutes, Sunday schools, vacation Bible schools, other small group ministry and workplace use. Presentations for conferences, seminars and workshops with course developer Larry Colbert also are available. “American African Restoration resources focus on resolving racial strife between American Africans and Caucasian Christians,” Colbert said, “revealing, Scripturally, the causes of enslavement and oppression and releasing treasures God has hidden in American Africans. An ordained minister and award-winning writer, Colbert authored the course’s texts, The Cup of Racial Reconciliation and The Cup of Racial Reconciliation Study Journal. He has developed and conducted Racial Reconciliation Summits and ministered in the area for more than a decade. Course 1001: Foundations in American African Restoration currently is offered at 7 p.m., Garden of Grace, 3660 NE 23, in Oklahoma City. Registration is free; materials are available on site.
