New Custom Home Project Update The lot has been scraped, fill delivered, spread and compacted. An independent testing company confirmed that we were compacted to the appropriate density, and we moved on to layout of the house on the pad. In todays photos, you will see that we have set batter boards at 5 offsets from the buildings perimeter. These boards allow us to set up a grid of string lines which mark outer walls, and foundation locations. They are at 5 offsets from the building so they can remain in place while we dig footers and set block.
