New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Partys prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi is all set to address a rally in Meerut on Sunday. Lakhs of people are expected to attend todays rally and arrangements have been made to ensure that people travelling from far-off areas reach the venue. The security of the area has been strengthened and an inspector general of police has been made in-charge of the rally for the first time. Officials said two superintendent of police (SP), 10 additional SPs, 20 deputy SPs, 12 inspectors, 150 sub-inspectors, 450 constables, 22 traffic sub-inspectors, 15 traffic head constables and 10 companies of Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC) have been sent from the headquarters in Lucknow. Former Mumbai police chief Satyapal Singh may also announce his decision to join the party at the rally.
