New Delhi: Jamaat-e-Islami Hind has strongly condemned desecration of Quran, attack on a madrasa and killing of seven people by Border Security Forces in Ramban area of Kashmir, and demanded the government to take stringent action against the guilty soldiers. In a media statement, Mr. Nusrat Ali, General Secretary, Jamaat-e-Islami Hind said the regular killing of Muslims in Kashmir by police and security forces and taking no stern action against guilty officials strengthens doubt that these killings are part of government policy, which is extremely condemnable and will destroy the peace in Khasmir. Democracy and Justice demand end to the bloody trend. Jamaat leader also demanded that the families of deceased should be given Rs 50 lakh each. He expressed deep sympathy with the victim families.
