New Haylie Fishing Loch Report for week ending 19/10/14 What a week its been words that were constantly repeated by anglers. Amazing,Fantastic, and from those that had never fished here before unbelievable. The trout have just continually kept their game up despite the ever changing weather as they just refuse to be brought to the bank. With so many diffrent methods working at the moment its fair to say you should get a fish on but no guarantee it will be brought to your net as easily. The fish are still feeding hard on the surface with some significantly large buzzer hatches then there are the fry feeders that are nailing their catch. Best lines have been Floater, Midge Tip, or a Slow Intermediate. Best flies CDC in Olive, Black, or Yellow Owl and the same respectively in the Suspender Buzzer. Inside the water Minkie fry patterns Hot head Damsels and Northern Worms, or just a cast of Buzzers straight lined or let them swing. Yes with the cooler weather a Cat Bug or the Haylie Bug just under the sighter will catch but be ready as the takes are savage.
