New Jersey doctor spared prison term in bribery scheme NEWARK >> Federal prosecutors say a northern New Jersey doctor will not have to serve a prison term for accepting more than $200,000 in bribes from a medical lab to send their patients’ blood samples to the company. Claudio Dicovsky was ordered Monday to serve three years’ probation, which includes one year of house arrest with electronic monitoring. He also was fined $75,000 and must perform 1,500 hours of community service. Dicovsky also will forfeit more than $222,000.
