The Business Analyst (Banking / Finance) would be working within a Banking Practice that caters for a variety of projects throughout the UK, so although there is a central base for this position, flexibility to travel is key for this role. Key Responsibilities: *Responsible for gathering detailed requirements, typically in the form of use cases or functional specifications, and class models. *May also capture user interface requirements, possibly with the help of a web designer, designer or developer who will provide any user interface prototypes. *Will be involved in requirements workshops with the client, taking on some facilitation responsibilities as necessary. *Must possess good commercial judgement in containing the scope of work. Typically will work as part of an analysis team in a structured environment utilising contemporary tools and techniques. *Will be able to take sole analyst responsibility for packages of work within a project. Skills and Experience: *Banking sector experience essential. *Excellent verbal and written communication skills. *Awareness of appropriate technology solutions. *Awareness of RUP/Agile or other contemporary formal development method. *Iterative and distributed delivery experience desirable. *Strong stakeholder management and client facing skills. *Previous experience of Mortgages, Loans and Banking. *Candidates should be fully flexible to travel in the UK.
