New Job Defect Manager - Systems Integration - BBBH8279 Industry: IT Job Type: Permanent Location: City of London, England Salary: £50000 - £65000 per annum + excellent package Defect Manager - Systems Integration My client who are a Global Mobile telecoms company seek an experienced Systems Defect Manager to join their existing team based in Central London (SE1). The Defect Manager is responsible for the tracking, reporting and management of defects through the full software delivery life cycle, and all associated environments, through to Production. In this role the Systems Defect Manager will have comprehensive understanding of the full software delivery life-cycle, manage and lead defect calls with development, test and operational teams providing clear minutes and actions. Key Skills & Experience Required *Experience of Application Software Design & Systems Integration within a Service Orientated Architecture *Extensive experience and understanding of defect tracking tools. *Deliver regular defect reports and metrics to senior management. *Management of performance and definition of defect turnaround times *Ability to forge strong relationships with internal customers, influencing and persuading where appropriate and resolving any conflicts which arise *Competent in the usage of MS Office applications and other tools, specifically with reference to design documentation (e.g. Sparx EA, Visio, PowerPoint, Word) and able to produce high-quality documentation quickly and effectively *Experience in working within smaller, fast-paced and agile organisations The Systems Defect Integration Manager will ideally have experience with the following: *Telecoms industry, specifically within Business Systems / Applications. *Previous experience, preferably in a technical role of distributed technologies and languages (eg .NET / JAVA) *Previous experience, preferably in a technical role of web service messaging technologies (eg. XML, SOAP, REST) *Understanding of various database technologies (eg. SQL Server, Mongo DB, My SQL) *Previous experience of Cerillion CRM solution *Previous experience of Streamserve Document Solution *Previous experience of FuseSource Enterprise Service Bus Solution *Previous experience of Salesforce hosted solutions *Previous experience in transactional website applications and content management systems If youre passionate and have the desire to expand your knowledge, working in a fast paced environment then please send me your CV for immediate consideration.
