Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Support manufacturing in identifying root cause or supplier concerns, approving and tracking countermeasures for effectiveness, lead task forces assigned to resolve supplier concerns, new model quality assurance planning and implementation. The central purpose of all duties is to assist the Decherd Powertrain plant in achieving safety, quality, cost and timing KPIs. Required: B.S. Degree in Engineering. Excellent verbal, written communication and problem solving skills. Working knowledge of quality control assessment such as statistical process control. Ability to understand part, sub-assembly and system dimensional layouts. Thorough computer knowledge such as word processor, spreadsheet and other PC applications or mainframe applications to resolve complex problems in day to day situations.
