New Job Financial Reporting Manager - 11612/001 Industry: Accountancy Job Type: Contract Location: Sutton Coldfield, England Salary: £48000 - £50000 per annum A fifteen month maternity cover position has become available for a Qualified Financial Reporting Manager. Duties include 1.Provide complete, timely and accurate financial and management information to the Group Finance Director and Group CFO as required - monthly accounts, annual and interim accounts 2.Detailed country business review to be undertaken on a regular business 3.Support the preparation of the annual report and accounts and the interim accounts and associated analysis required for investors presentations 4.Support the preparation of the Group Budget and Strategic 5 year plan Principal accountabilities 1.Monthly management reporting and preparation of the CEO/CFO report *Extract and interrogate the information from the HFM (Hyperion Financial Management) consolidation for inclusion in the CEO/CFO reports including primary statements, KPIs and other analysis as required *Liaise with local management to address questions on country submissions and resolve issues *Review and assess the implication of the commentary in the country MBRs * Support drafting of monthly Board report (CEO/CFO report) 2.Regular detailed Business Reviews *Lead the preparation of the Business Review agenda and work plan *Arrange the logistic with the country finance teams / Group finance teams and Group FD sign off meetings *Complete the review on site at the business, leading review meetings and drafting a report on key findings together with an action plan; review will normally include a trading, balance sheet and cash review or a deep dive on a specific area *Follow up on actions and ensure any review points are cleared within the agreed period 3.Annual report and interim accounts *Support in the preparation and issue of year end instructions to country teams *Lead the interrogation of year end consolidated numbers - rationalise and assess accuracy of the consolidation *Support the preparation of the annual report and associated analysis required by the Group CFO, FD, Auditors or other member of the Board. Detailed read of the annual report, preliminary statements and associated documentation *Prepare a year end supporting information file for the front section of the annual report *Lead the collation of the country datapacks and collation of the pack *Lead the preparation of the data pack / analytical review document to support the CFO year end discussions with the Board and Investors 4.Annual budgeting process *Lead the preparation of the budget instructions to countries including reporting templates, timetables and associated face to face meetings *Lead the budget analysis and review for each country which may involved preparing further analysis to draw conclusions *Extract and interrogate the budget information from the HFM consolidation for inclusion in the budget Board pack, including primary statements, KPIs and other analysis as required 5.Strategic planning financial review *Support the Group Finance team in preparation of the 5 year plan and any amendments to the plan during the year 6.Ad hoc projects *Support ad hoc projects including acquisitions, disposal, capital investment appraisals or other required by the Group CFO / Finance Director
