New Job Microsoft Office Specialist/Document Production - DP1002175 Industry: Admin and Secretarial Job Type: Permanent Location: Sheffield, England Salary: DOE Our client, a large city centre based firm of Solicitors are looking to recruit a Microsoft Office Specialist. You must have fast typing speeds above 60 wpm and be at an advanced/expert level in Word for Windows, Excel and PowerPoint as you will be tested on this at interview. The hours for this role are 6.00am - 2.00pm Monday to Friday. Duties are as follows: *Inputting and amending large documents, working from precedents, copy typing new documents, transcription of digital dictation and scheduling of deeds. *Production of PowerPoint presentations, organisational charts, mail merges and Excel spreadsheets and graphs. *Producing documents as per clients instructions and layout, ensuring consistency and accuracy *Working to specific deadlines *Taking minor amendments over the telephone *Liaising with clients when unable to meet deadlines *Handling telephone enquiries *Attending training sessions *Dealing with internal and external clients *Effective use of the DPC Access database to book in incoming work The Person *Self-disciplined and a good time and task manager *Good team worker and ability to help others at busy times *Flexible and adaptable *A high level of IT literacy (typing c. 60wpm) *MOS qualifications would be an advantage *Pride in the quality of work and the ability to proof read documents *Accuracy and attention to detail *The ability to work to tight deadlines on a daily basis *Conscientious, approachable and enthusiastic *Quickly builds respect and trust *Excellent communication and organisational skills For more information about the above vacancy or for a confidential chat about our other vacancies throughout Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, the North West and the North East, please send your details to us and one of our dedicated legal consultants will contact you.
