New Job Project Management Accountant - RC11790/001 Industry: Accountancy Job Type: Temporary Location: Telford, England Salary: £200 - £250 per day *Assisting in the preparation of accurate monthly management accounts including: oUnderstanding and using revenue recognition templates to calculate revenue for current month actuals and rolling forecasts oIdentifying and calculating accruals and prepayments oAnalysing cost variances for current month actuals and rolling forecasts oEnsuring adherence to companies internal accounting policies and GAAP *Identifying, understanding and forecasting opportunities and risks affecting the delivery unit *Conducting balance sheet reconciliations and understanding reasons behind accrued or deferred revenue balances *Assisting in the production and interpretation of a detailed monthly reporting pack, which the lead accountant will use to present to the business unit leader *Production of ad-hoc reports and analysis to support and assist the lead accountant and business unit leader in decision making *Close liaison with Operations, Programme/Project Managers and Project Analysts, displaying confidence to support and challenge *Working within a complex client contract and understanding the financial implications on the business
