This H&S Manager role will be working in a business that has seen a huge amount of change as sales have grown by a huge scale over the last few years. This role will be hugely exciting for the right person. It is managing the H&S and environmental functions of two sites (within commutable distance of each other) with support at both sites. The sites are operating at different standards so this role will be responsible for taking things back to scratch and implementing a best practise system. We see this as an exciting opportunity as you will be wholly responsible for this and will have the autonomy and freedom to put your stamp on it. This role will report into the Site Manager and sit on the Leadership team. H&S is important with issues to correct short-term and strategies to be formulated longer term, but the environmental piece will also be important (the two sites are at different levels again in this respect). If you are excited about working from a clean slate and working out what a H&S blueprint should look like in a successful business this is the opportunity for you. This business needs a Health & Safety Manger to come in and deliver results, so a proven track record improving H&S through change management is needed. You will have a NEBOSH Diploma and Environmental qualification as well as either experience or an understanding of the requirements of a multi-site role.
