New Job Senior Fund Accountant - J847 Industry: Financial Services Job Type: Permanent Location: Jersey, Channel Isles Salary: £32000 - £42000 per annum + Attractive Benefits An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Fund Accountant to join our client, an established Financial Services organisation based in Jersey. You will be carrying out the routine day-to-day accounting of fund structures under the direction of a Financial Reporting Manager. Key Responsibilities of the Senior Fund Accountant will include: - Bookkeeping of funds, management companies and associated fund structures within the team - Assist with all aspects of accounting matters, including the preparation, reconciliation and proofing of investor reports, statutory financial statements, and ad-hoc investor requests. - Assist with completion of routine audit queries - Preparing periodic bank reconciliations and provide supporting documentation evidencing transactions The ideal Fund Accountant will possess the following attributes/skills: - Will be expected to study for a relevant professional qualification (preferably having commenced ACCA Fundamental Skills or ACA Professional level) - Have sound technical financial services knowledge (to be supported through the Aztec Academy - Have very good interpersonal skills, to develop close working relationships with colleagues, clients and business contacts. - Computer literacy skills are essential This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Fund Accountant to join an established Financial Services organisation in Jersey.
