Theyre offering a years fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. Strategic Partnership To be an active and influential player enabling the effective analysis of business issues/ strategy and goals, transferring these into People Plans with integrated interventions and solutions that deliver against the business imperatives. Take a proactive role in the development of the Business People Strategy and lead the implementation of this as well as other major change programmes in the allocated business areas Ensure HR is thought-partnering as we work with managers to maximize talent & people capabilities (assess adequate to the task/skills are fit for purpose) Drive business leadership teams, through the interpretation of the companys people agenda turning this into real action and plans that are aligned to business goals Support our people (new & existing) as they take the organizational change journey Work with managers to develop and implement BU Operating Plans and Cost Challenge To provide active leadership, in partnering with business leadership teams, on HR issues such as reward, employee relations, talent, performance, organisation development/change, continuous improvement, culture, leadership and learning and development To challenge, provoke and coach business leaders on Diversity & Inclusion agenda, employee engagement, performance management, continuous improvement, operational efficiencies and development. To be able to initiate, design and effectively execute integrated people solutions that address key business drivers, bringing together the resources within the business areas, Development & Recruitment and HR operations. Anticipate customer needs and deliver solutions to meet current and future commercial priorities Governance andcompliance Take accountability for partnering with business leaders in maintaining and monitoring the LexisNexis policies and procedures within allocated business areas, identifying potential breaches and proactively initiating action when applicable. Maximise on central resources to develop an innovative HR portfolio of policies and procedures and ensure employee relation issues are dealt with to the highest standard HR Functional expertise: * Employee Relations (ER) matters for example Performance Improvement, Employment Law and TUPE, Staff and Works Councils, Employee Engagement, Redundancies, Communication Planning * Change Management and Organisational Design * Talent Management and Workforce Planning * CIPD qualified or equivalent - for example Human Resource Management degree * Proven ability to understand business perspective & goals * Pro-active business partnering - designing and implementing HR interventions to support business aims, and use of systems and processes that support business aims * Influencing skills - ability to challenge appropriately * Attention to detail * Working with Centres of Excellence and working with shared services * Global experience * Proven ability to work in large-scale matrix structure (this is where collaborative team work is crucial) We offer a competitive salary and bonus plus a comprehensive benefits package; 28.5 days holiday Pension including Life Cover 35 hour week Employee Assistance Programme Save As You Earn Scheme
