The Senior IT Project Manager will lead and direct global project teams in the timely delivery of projects, on budget. The Senior IT Project Manager will manage large, complex projects end to end, from requirements gathering, contract negotiation, development and testing through to implementation and handover to the operations and support teams. The Senior IT Project Manager will need to have strong project management experience within a Legal firm and industry recognised qualifications. This position will work closely with project teams based in Australia so some flexibility is needed in terms of doing early/late calls. There may also be some travel to Australia a couple of times a year so the successful Senior IT Project Manager must be willing to travel occasionally. Skills and experience required for the role are as follows: Extensive experience as a project manager with a proven track record of successfully managing and leading global projects through the full project life cycle in a professional services company, ideally a law firm. Prince 2 qualified Proven track record of managing a programme of work Working within a structured project framework Good understanding of soft skills involved in successful management of projects and team motivation Able to manage teams remotely in a global context.
