New Member Spotlight: NCAVA would like to welcome new member Susan Morris. Susan has been with The Arts Council of Winston-Salem/Forsyth County for almost 2 years and works with a community of volunteers every day. She heard about NCAVA through a partnership with HandsOn NWNC. They have recently started a program called the Arts Council Engagement Society (ACES), where were match community members with opportunities to engage with arts and cultural groups. Learning more about effective volunteer programs, and having a partnership with HandsOn Northwest NC, we will be able to get more people involved with the amazing artists in our community. Susan loves to travel and learn about different parts of the state/country/world.
