New Mexico Beef Quality Assurance Program Training For Beef and Dairy Producers Ø A program designed to raise consumer confidence in beef production through a commitment of proper management techniques and quality Ø Producers may gain increased profitability through program participation Wednesday, March 19, 2014 6:00 PM Community Building Eddy County Fairgrounds Artesia, NM The NM BQA Program is a two-step procedure consisting of: 1) Training and passing a test to become a New Mexico BQA Trained Producer 2) Completing additional documents with your veterinarian to become a New Mexico BQA Certified Producer Step 1 will be completed at this program. Training and testing will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours to complete. Program taught by Dr. John Wenzel, NMSU Extension Veterinarian.
