New Mirik TMC committee holds meeting DEEP MILAN PRADHAN, MIRIK, 15 Jun 2014: The newly formed Mirik TMC committee today conducted a meeting to discuss about the formation of panchayat committees for each gram panchayat areas in the region. The meeting was chaired by Mirik TMC committee president Anil Tamang in the presence of various top members of the committee. The TMC is strengthening its party base from the grass root level to boost development and take care of the problems faced by people. The unit will prepare a report on the formation of panchayat committee and submit it to the party high command, Chettri informed. He also informed a delegation from the unit will head to Kolkata in a few days and meet the party high command and work in accordance to their directives. “TMC has always worked and will always worked for the upliftment of the people, development and to maintain democracy across the hills,” he added.
