All showcasing artists get a promo video package, consisting of their interview and b-roll footage of their particular showcase. To see samples of this, go to our YouTube page: youtube/rawartiststv. In particular, check out this video to see how we’d like the shots framed, lit and their audio recorded (the specific mic you’ll use may vary): youtu.be/-LzUImNenW4 You’ll need a 1080P, flash memory card-based camera system (DSLR or similar), not a tape-based system (mini-DV, HDV, etc). This is because you’ll only be shooting and handing over all of the footage to RAW Media for processing and editing. We will be sending you everything you’ll need, including an external USB hard drive with pre-paid postage to ship back. There will be absolutely no transcoding needed on your end. We need the raw files that come straight out of the camera (.mov, .mts, etc). The only thing we need you to do is organize all interview & b-roll footages in separate corresponding artist folders. Other minimum equipment you’ll be required to possess will be: - Basic lights setup (minimum one, preferably two with large soft box or umbrella) - High quality audio recording capabilities - Tripod (preferably with a smooth pan/tilt head).
