New Pit buyers in the Jackson area. Our vet said unless you paid $12- 1500 and got AKC PAPERS, chances are its mixed, he said 95% of all pits in jackson county are mixed. For $100 , you can have a wisdom panel done that goes back three generation of the pups bloodline to proove pure breed. Well worth the money if your going to pay that much. And if the breeder wont/cant wait, then that tells you something. My theory is, why pay big money for a dog, when you can rescue or adopt a pet for alot less. And the love is the same!!! ;-)
