New Review from a Happy Customer: A recent accident had left my 2001 mazda back-bumper-less, tail-lamp broken and a terrible dent on the right panel near the tail-lamp. Even the trunk wasnt closing as it was displaced from its original setting. There werent any damages to engine/exhaust etc. Purely cosmetic damages. My insurance companys recommended collisions centers (I went to 2 other collisions centers before finding Maaco on Google reviews). Both the collision centers told me that my cars fate was to be totaled up. I was told that my car cannot be fixed and the cost of fixing it (i were to) would be as high as the current value of the car. Whether its an attachment to the car or the reasoning that how can I let my car go for cosmetic damages alone; I decided to explore the possibility of getting it fixed somehow. Ivan had been absolutely honest about what can be fixed and what cant be. What good to fix was and what necessary to fix was. With all his patience he walked me through details of each part that needed to be replaced or fixed. While addressing all the fixes the other collision centers had recommended, he helped optimize the cost of fixing; by carefully analyzing what could be fixed with a little more effort rather than replacing. Again, since it was Christmas time, I must say that there were no delays against the time frame committed to initially. The fixes: The back bumper was neatly fixed The new tail-lamps are fitted perfectly The terrible dent DISAPPEARED literally (and mind you, they fixed it and not replaced!) The trunk closes as it should. Best part - The car has been painted IMPECCABLY in silver frost paint. Since the day i got the car, I have been admiring how new it looks and have been trying to find faults in the paint job. But i ave failed to find any. Flawless is the word. I never expected my old car to be restored to its original condition after the accident. My fiends say it looks much much better than how it was before the accident :) I have enough reasons to justify the length of this review! Bottom line: Totally, absolutely recommend this place if you want committed service, at a justified cost.
