New Scott 24 hr Champions. The Scott 24hr was one of the best 24hr races we have ever been involved with. We sponsored the event and the team rode fast and professional as usual. We had some early flats leaving us off the pace and over an hour behind the leaders, the team put in a huge effort riding to plan and doing everything required to get back to the podium. Cosi Hofman recorded the fastest outright laps for the event both night and day with Jonno Dahl recording second fastest outright laps for both night and day only a few seconds behind. And the overall results First in the Boys Schools category and just to show how quick they are First overall for the entire event. As far as we are aware a Junior team has never before won a 24hr event outright so this is another great first for the team. Special thanks to our co sponsor Werks Bikes, Stu spent the entire time servicing bikes between laps and keeping everything running smoothly. The Whyte bikes ran perfectly and helped the guys riding them achieve their lap times. One of the best things about this team is the community feel with the amazing support of the families that helped throughout the event especially Jeanette and Genevieve Simpson for running Cafe Simpson and provide a constant supply of amazing healthy food for the whole time. Our coaching team with Jono and Peta helped me keep everything running smoothly. I am so proud to have started such an amazing project, the team has achieved so much more than we ever expected and proven you can run a really professional Junior team. Who knows what we can achieve next....
