New State Wide Poll Numbers Change Landscape Of Races #VoteKS A new poll released Thursday shows that many races in the state are still neck and neck, while others show strong leads for some candidates. U.S. Senate Race: The Poll done by Survey USA, sponsored by KSN News in Wichita, touched on many races in the state including the primary race for U.S. Senate. Out of 691 GOP voters, it shows Sen. Pat Roberts with a strong lead over Tea Party challenger Dr. Milton Wolf. Roberts has 50% of the poll, and Wolf with 30%. A sampling error of +/- of 3.8%, 12% polled showed they were still undecided. Survey USA also shows that if the General Election for U.S Senate was held today, Chad Taylor would be almost neck and neck with Sen. Roberts. 38% of the 1,208 likely voters polled, said they would vote for Roberts, while 33% said they would vote for Taylor. There is an error margin of +/- of 2.9% Governor’s Race: The race for Governor is now leaning toward Gov. Sam Brownback’s challenger, Paul Davis. The poll shows that Davis has an 8-point lead with 48% of the vote.
