New Video Take a look at this mule: HIp #25 Blacky, 8-year-old, 16hand, 1300 lb Horse Mule consigned by T.J. Clark. Blacky is a good mule that I have owned since he was 4-years-old. He has done everything we have to offer a mule in the mountains; been through tough terrain, creeks and rivers, mud holes and bogs. He has packed everything you can think of from anything in the kitchen, meat and horns, including a guitar for our singing wrangler. He is an excellent pack mule, you just couldn’t ask for a better one. I have been riding him for three years. I have led pack strings on him and guided my hunters using him. He will ride off by himself with no problems. There is absolutely no buck or hump in this mule. He will travel out at a nice fast walk or you can shut him down and ask him to walk softly if you need to really slow down and look things over. He rides one handed and has a nice neck rein. He is very soft and responsive. He has a nice lope and will stop hard if needed. Call me at 307.272.4563.
