New Year, New Face, New Challenges.... Almazora Motors recently upgraded the front mask of its Tourist Star coachwork by replacing it with that of the MAN Lion’s Regio intercity bus. The upgrade will apply to coachworks for MAN chassis units following the OEM agreement between the coachbuilder and MAN Automotive Concessionaires Corp. The move was designed to make the coachwork more “MANly” compared to the generic version offered for other chassis brands while at the same time improving its overall looks, featuring a chrome molding and emblem. The rest of the coachwork will remain the same. MAN Automotive Concessionaires Corp. showcased the facelifted Tourist Star coach during the Asia Pacific Drive Tourism Auto & Travel Show held at the Subic Bay Exhibition & Convention Center on the 21st of January up to the 2nd of February 2014. On display is a 49 seater coach for Victory Liner Inc. equipped with MAN R39 18.350 HOCL-CIB chassis, from the first batch of coaches which rolled off the assembly line early in January.
