New Years Day started off with a Home Invasion Robbery last night around 9pm in Harrisville, details are sketchy at this point and no details are being released at this time by the Harrison County Sheriffs office- Sheriff Ronald Myer. The victim was home at the time of the robbery, the intruder knew exactly where valuables were located and forced the home owner to that location, the home owner has Cerebral Palsy but said he fought the best he could with the intruder but he was too big. The robber took the mans new wallet which was reported to contain $125.00, all information contained in the wallet, 5 antique western type handguns and approximately 2,000 rounds of ammo. In the process of being dragged to the location of the valuable the homeowner was struck and was bleeding near his right eye. This is an active investigation in Harrison County at this point and we are waiting for a full Press release from the Harrison County Sheriffs Office, probably get on Monday. Rural County TV News.
