New Years Eve we celebrated the 6th day of Kwanza: Kuumba - TopicsExpress

New Years Eve we celebrated the 6th day of Kwanza: Kuumba (koo-OOM-bah): Creativity Using creativity and imagination to make your communities better than what you inherited. I found this a particularly interesting synchronicity with the way an Orisha once advised me to celebrate the winters New Year: Which was by going within and drawing upon my creativity. As we enter the Winters Season Point of New Beginnings we are encouraged to visit within our own personal Duat (inner dark space, the underworld or un-world the negative template to the world of formation) where the gifts of potential can be matched with our requests for what we intend to manifest over the year. Remember, all things seen are generated from the unseen. For things to be birthed into being they must first be tapped into in their home of pure potential. If you havent done that yet, its not to late. The earth is moving through her own Duat in the winter season... so are we synchronized with this movement. Set your goals and objectives by writing them down and keeping them in a special place physically as well as that special place inside you, (your heart). Start with a generalized version for the year. Then begin your plan by breaking it down into 6 month increments. Then get more specific by breaking it down quarterly. Finally, break it down monthly. Keep this part in a day scheduler so you can evaluate it with your actual days activities over time. Do this is hard copy instead of electronic. Theres something about the actual physical engagement of writing that helps bring forth life. These are your requests into the Unseen. As spring approaches your requests will be honored and you will find you receive the seeds. From there you can plant, nurture and harvest. We learn and grow from our experiences. Next winter you can evaluate and do it all again for continued expansion into the awareness of your relationship with all that Is Divine. KUUMBA = CREATIVITY!
