New Years Eve we had a great party down at Harbor House. The No Name Freezing Your Ass Off On New Years Eve Band, consisting of myself, Danny Vola and David A. Watson, along with numerous guests and celebrities, played until 4:03 am. We had to shoehorn late-comers like Thornetta Davis and Sharon Love Jones to get everyone onstage before we got blinked out! Many thanks, and a great time had by all. After that blowout, Im not sure what happened. I got home around 6:30, hopped in the shower for 30 min trying to chase away the chills, and have been sick as hell since then. Yet, I still had to play with Thornetta on NY Day at the MGM, at 2 nights with Pathe Jassi at Jazz Katz! Saturday morning, I somehow made it to Alberta Adams funeral. Ive been so busy while being so sick! Sunday, I had to cancel out of my weekly Translove Energies gig and Celebrity Sundays with Misty Love. I really, really needed to rest. Seems a lot of people ended up with that bug. That was very hardcore. Better today. I hope the rest of you sick bodies are feeling better, too.
