New Years Resolutions: In the past, I have tried the usual- exercise more, lose weight, actually commit to completing all 7 days of the teeth whiting treatment- each with limited results. This year, I am trying something different and sharing so that when I slip up, I have a huge group of people who will remind me to get back on the plan. For 2015, I resolve: 1. to stop dwelling on my mistakes of the past. I hate it when I screw up and always work to clean up my mess, ensure that I dont take anyone else down with me and try to learn and move on. However, negative self-deprecating soul-crushing behavior serves no useful purpose and must cease. 2. that my most significant relationship shall not be with my work. I still remain fiercely committed to providing the best possible training services to the warfighter, the acquisition workforce, and those who protect the safety of our national airspace. However, this shall not be my life. 3. to always be grateful. I dont have all the things that I want, but I am glad because this focuses me to remember I definitely have all that I need. I have been hugely blessed with family and friends who love me in spite of myself. To spend any time at all in 2015 being ungrateful disrespects all of you have have honored me by watching over me, my heart and my spirit. I wish all of you peace, joy and even more peace for the new year and thank you for making my life better by being part of it.
